5TH INTERNATIONAL WEBINAR ON MULTIMODAL DISCOURSE ANALYSIS

IThe 5th International Webinar on Multimodal Discourse Analysis will deal with 3 main topics:

      • Multimodality, the evolution of the concept, and new directions.
      • New tools and new contexts in multimodal digital communication: corpus-driven research.
      • Pedagogical applications and future research on multimodality.

Similarly to previous editions, the webinar will be structured in 2 phases.

The first phase will consist of a forum in the days prior to the webinar (7-14 th of November). Then, during the two days of the webinar (16-17 th of November), there will be 6 short lectures, 3 Round Tables, and a workshop on the software we are developing for multimodal analysis (GRAPE-MARS).

Participants are invited to participate in the forum, and then, ask questions after each of the lectures and the Round Tables. Everything will be streamed and the online participants will be able to interact through the chat tool.
